In partnership with Reach Out and Read, Columbia University and the Center for the Study of Social Policy, we are launching an Early Relational Health (ERH) Research Network to promote nurturing early relationships between young children and their caregivers. The partners in this network engage with thought partners, system builders, policy and network leaders, parents, and practitioners. Together they work to co-create, innovate, test, and disseminate strategic activities. As part of this work, ICS is also supporting the COMBO study, the first national longitudinal study of early relational health. Our team provides measurement expertise to support the ongoing process of advancing the concept of early relational health in health care, public health, and community settings across the country, through raising awareness and promoting effective and equitable measurement practices. In addition, we plan to utilize human centered design and the IDEAS Impact Framework to develop a learning network to scale promising ERH innovations.
