Leveraging measurement to empower the early childhood workforce

We aim to inform early childhood measurement practice toward ensuring equitable structural, relational and transformational change—but not alone! We serve, celebrate and promote the impact and practice of early childhood professionals developing and working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and early elementary age children and families.

Examples of Our Work

  • Developmental Data and Assessment: We highlight strength- and equity-based, culturally-informed early childhood development. Our vision is to work with early childhood professionals to amplify child and family voice with the end goal of understanding and promoting young children and families’ lived experiences.
  • Practitioner Experience: We engage practitioners to learn, listen, and support the ways they wish to grow in their service to very young children and families. In doing this work, we aim to serve the well-being of the workforce, and to elevate the work and importance of all early childhood professionals.
  • Outreach and Engagement: Trainings, partnerships, coalition building. This includes sector-based work, supporting foundation engagement, and gathering professionals for programming.
  • Professional Empowerment: Managing and creating programming for early childhood professionals.

Testimonial

“It was wonderful working with Aimée and Tyson. Logic models and impact evaluation can feel daunting to organizations, but they are able to break down concepts in ways that lay people can grasp and provided our fellows with frameworks that helped them think more clearly about how they see themselves and their work.”
